The Belgian embassy in Nigeria yesterday evening issued entry visa to the members of the Super Eagles ahead of the international friendlies between Nigeria and Congo today and against Cameroon on Sunday.
The chairman of the technical committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Chief Felix Ayansi-Agwu who confirmed the development in a telephone chat with Vanguard, also hinted that the team comprising mainly home based players and other backroom staff will now travel today.
“We appreciate the issuance of the visas by the Belgian Embassy but I doubt if the team will be able to meet with the first match against Congo on Thursday since they will be travelling on the same day.”
Meanwhile, Chief Ayansi has described the camp row between Super Eagles Chief Coach, Sunday Oliseh and team captain, Vincent Enyeama as an in-house affair which has been resolved.
